Volunteer & Advocacy Coordinator

Location: Dallas, TX

Summary: The Volunteer Coordinator will be primarily responsible for recruiting, training, retaining and managing volunteers for the crisis advocacy program. The Coordinator will continually develop strategies for recruiting and training volunteers for all agency and assist the Program Coordinator with coordination of the SANE/SART program.

Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE)

The Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner will provide timely, non-judgmental, compassionate care to sexual assault survivors, including forensic exam, and medical need assessment.  

The SANE is expected to follow protocols established by the Medical Director, The Turning Point, SANE Program Coordinator and/or Collin County SART

Prevention Education Fellow

The Turning Point’s Education Department is looking for passionate and dedicated individuals who are excited to be on the frontlines of sexual violence prevention education! Our fellowship will offer individuals the opportunity to gain hands on experience in sexual violence prevention education and partnership building with local social service organizations and community leaders.

Responsibilities include:

​This fellowship is offered in two cycles: Sum-fall cycle (June-December) and Academic cycle (September-May).

Fellows must be able to commit to 15-20 hours per week for a minimum of 6 months.

We strongly encourage upper level undergraduate students, currently enrolled graduate students, and/or graduates who have studied sociology, psychology, public health, or related social sciences to apply.
