Counseling

Trauma can make you feel isolated, but you don't have to be alone. We are specially trained to help you process the overwhelming pain of sexual trauma. We are well-versed in trauma-focused care, trained in EMDR, and have received training at the master's or doctoral level. And most importantly, we are compassionate and kind.

  • Counseling services are provided at no cost.

  • Our counselors provide individual and group therapy to survivors of sexual violence, ages 13 and older.

  • Group Therapy is available to the family and friends of the survivor as they support their loved one through the healing process.

  •  We do not offer family therapy services at the moment, but you can contact us for a free referral for family therapy.

EMDR

EMDR Intensive Sessions for Survivors of Recent Sexual Assault

Experiencing a sexual assault can leave you feeling overwhelmed, unsafe, or disconnected from yourself and the world around you. Our EMDR Intensive Sessions offer a focused, compassionate approach to processing trauma, helping you regain a sense of stability and control without the need for ongoing weekly therapy. Using Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)—an evidence-based method for processing distressing memories—these intensives allow you to make significant progress in a short time. Sessions are tailored to your needs and may incorporate somatic and mindfulness techniques to support your nervous system as you heal.

Unlike traditional therapy, EMDR Intensives condense multiple sessions into five three-hour sessions, providing structured and effective trauma processing without requiring you to relive every detail of what happened. This approach is ideal if you're looking for relief from intrusive thoughts, flashbacks, anxiety, or dissociation in a focused and supportive setting. If you’re seeking a safe, accelerated path toward healing, contact us to see if an EMDR Intensive is right for you.
