The Collin County Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) is a collaborative and multidisciplinary team that is designed to provide a coordinated and victim-centered response to sexual assault cases.

SARTs are committed to victims' rights and needs, by organizing their service delivery to enhance evidence collection, and by educating the community about services available for the intervention and prevention of sexual assault (National Center for the Prosecution on Violence Against Women, 1998).

Our Vision Statement:

Creating a future where sexual violence is nonexistent, survivors are embraced by a network of compassionate support, empowered to heal, and assured of both safety and justice.

Our Mission Statement:

To provide a collaborative network of community partners dedicated to providing coordinated and comprehensive support for sexual assault survivors and to foster a community of healing and resilience.

The Turning Point assists sexual violence survivors—regardless of sex, gender identity or expression, race, ethnicity, culture, age, disability, language, sexual orientation, religion or spirituality, income or employment status, housing stability, immigration or documentation status, access to education, recovery or substance use history, mental health status, involvement with the criminal justice system (as allowed by law), or engagement in sex work. We provide information in English and Spanish, as well as interpretation services in most other languages upon request.
