Building Strong Futures: Family Resilience

Funded by Texas Health Resources Community Impact Grant

Learn more at: www.BuildingStrongFutures.com

Building Strong Futures is a family-centered violence prevention program that helps caregivers strengthen relationships, build resilience, and navigate challenges related to health, finances, and parenting. The program serves families with school-age children in the 75407 zip code (Princeton) and offers a 6-week interactive workshop series, followed by monthly enrichment sessions and adult peer support groups to reinforce learning and connection over time.

Core Components:

  • Resilience & Connection: Tools for managing stress, improving communication, and strengthening family bonds

  • Health & Financial Literacy: Practical strategies for navigating healthcare, budgeting, and accessing local services

  • Ongoing Support: Peer support groups and enrichment sessions help build community and sustain progress

  • Local Resource Access: Weekly food distributions provided through our partner, Community Lifeline Center.

In collaboration with The Samaritan Inn and Destiny’s Leaders, Building Strong Futures offers wraparound support for families and youth in Princeton.

New cohorts, including Spanish-language sessions, launch throughout the year.
Stronger families. Less stress. More support.
