Turning Point Opens Doors for Community Collaboration

On April 23rd, 2025, The Turning Point hosted a successful Community Partners Open House, welcoming community organizations, leaders, business owners, and city officials to its Plano facility. The event showcased over four decades of dedicated service to sexual assault survivors, highlighting the comprehensive support offered.
Guests toured The Turning Point's counseling offices and forensic exam rooms, gaining insight into the vital Advocacy, Counseling, SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner), and SART (Sexual Assault Response Team) programs, as well as the impactful Outreach and Education Program. Attendees enjoyed lunch with staff, fostering connection and understanding of the organization's mission of hope and healing.
The Open House served as an opportunity to forge new partnerships, inviting the community to collaborate in supporting survivors. For residents eager to learn more and explore volunteer opportunities, The Turning Point will host a Community Open House in August 2025.
